When you think about a side hustle, you may think that you have to start a business. Not so! Many more people have a part-time job (some have more than one). If it’s money you’re after, it’s a “seller’s market” right now. The demand for employees – both full and part-time – is enormous. There are currently more job openings in the U.S. than there are people available to fill them.

There are many reasons for this. You may have heard terms like “the Great Resignation” or “the Great Reset.” Basically, the pandemic drove many older workers to early retirement, and health concerns drove many already-retired part-time workers to leave the workforce. Others decided to return to school to get a degree or professional certificate. Whatever the reason(s), employers are desperate for high-quality, dependable employees to fill out their workforce.
